TMS was retained by the City of Atlantis to work with our friends in Congress to help the City and the airport to enforce interlocal agreements relating to noise and flight pattern safety issues. We are asking to insert language into the 2019 Federal Aviation Authority Reauthorizing Bill. In the past few weeks, TMS President Sharon Merchant has met with Congressman Dan Webster and Congresswoman Lois Frankel to discuss possible language options and to garner their support. Both serve on the Transportation Committee. She is working with Congressman Diaz-Balart, who chairs the Transportation Appropriations Subcommittee. She had the pleasure of serving with these fine public servants in the Florida Legislature. Sharon has also met with Palm Beach International Airports Director Bruce Pelly to discuss the issues.
TMS Teams Up with Keith and Associates
TMS is happy to announce that we will soon be working on a City of Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency project with Keith and Associates, Inc. Keith and Associates is a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm headquartered in Pompano Beach, Florida with a new office about to open in downtown Lake Worth. TMS will be providing public outreach to ensure that all impacted stakeholders are well informed and have their concerns heard. This is our first opportunity to work with Keith and Associates and we are very much looking forward to this exciting new challenge.
TMS and Snubbs Consulting
TMS is providing public involvement services to Snubbs Consulting, Inc. on a design build road project in Broward County. Snubbs provides professional services to both public and private sector clients. They specialize in civil/site engineering, highway planning and design, environmental evaluations and surveying. TMS is creating collateral materials, such as letters and flyers, to invite stakeholders to a public meeting. We will be on hand at that public meeting next month to ensure smooth communication. It is a pleasure working with Snubbs!

Buck’s Corner, by Buck Merchant
Boy, I had a fun trip seeing my Aunt Alison and Uncle Charlie in Tallahassee. My cousin Emily was there, too. Emily is a human teenager now, so she is very popular and not home much. Driving up with Uncle Paul and Mom was so fun! We stopped to get gas and I left long pee mail messages for all the hot canine babes from home to FSU! We went up to see the game, at least that was the plan. I love football and I am a good Seminole dog. I could have run that ball all the way! Somehow, I got left at the house. Worse yet, I was left in a cage! Sheesh! My aunt and uncle are owned by three cats. The cats have hypnotized them and control everything! While Mom and everyone enjoyed the game, the cats had a party and laughed at me. Next time I will bite them when no one is looking. Anyway, we had long walks in the woods filled with great smells. I had the perfect snooze on the way home and got to leave my mark on more great locations. I am expecting calls any minute. That’s all for now.
September 11, 2001
Let us never forget, During the 9/11 terrorist attacks of 2001, 2,996 Americans were killed and more than 6,000 injured.
These deaths include 245 on four airplanes, 2,606 in the World Trade Center and in the surrounding area, and 125 at the Pentagon.
May we each spend a few moments in quiet contemplation
Another Day That Lives in Infamy.
