  • Laura performs public involvement for TMS, often as Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager.  She regularly works with engineering firms contracted by cities, counties, utilities, FDOT and the Florida Turnpike.  Informing residents, business owners and all other impacted parties helps move projects along smoothly.   Public involvement includes many aspects of marketing and media relations. Laura has been working with TMS for ten years.

    Connecting people and creating relationships through organizations, memberships and community is one of Laura’s strengths. Public and media visibility help keep TMS and our clients noticed in our community. She ensures that all social media, websites and graphic materials support the brand and peretuate the message for each project.

    South is serving her community as the President of John Paul Jr Huntington’s Disease Foundation, on the Sports Hall of Fame Committee, and is Vice President of Dixie Visions, Inc. non-profit, which is sponsors women empowerment events. In 2006, under South’s direction, Moroso Motorsports entertained more than 650,000 visitors and pumped $50 million into the local economy, an accomplishment that earned the track the coveted Palm Beach County’s 2006 Providencia Award for its contribution to local tourism.
